Default TIRES FOR R/T AWD

I’m sure that this topic has been discussed, but my search didn’t find many results. The stock Continentals on my 2006 AWD R/T plain suck in the snow. My ABS is constantly kicking in when I come to a leisurely stop on snowy roads and my car pushes around most turns with any amount of snow on the road. What is a good replacement all season tire that is going to make my AWD R/T actually feel like it is AWD? I put Nokians on my wife’s Volvo SUV and I love them, but they look a little aggressive for my wagon. Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nokian WR's are the best you ca get for snow tires. They even have an indicator on the tire that tells you if the roads might get icy. Very popular in Canada.

If I go with the Nokians, what size would you go with? They don't make 225/60-18's, but they do make a 235/50-18. You guys think they would look ok on the Magnum? Anyone have any pics of this tire on a Magnum?

I don't want to go that wide, especially for driving in snow.

Thats true. But mine is only rear wheel drive and has been very good in the snow. This was only 10 inches no ice. All wheel drive an all season tire should be fine?

Too bad you did not live closer I am selling my car and would get rid of the tires for $400 plus yours.
