tires and rims
If I'm in the market for larger tires and rims (18-20") can some throw out the details as to the rim/tiresize that i should be looking for? What is the specific size before I get into issues other then just bolting the new rims/tread on? ( I want to avoid and fendershaving/suspension issues for now)
Thanks!
Also for anyone in the Ontario/toronto area I don't think that you will find prices that beat this place (in my home town!)

Hey pike I am currently running on 20's with the Nitto 420S tires I believe they are 245 55 r20's I have not had an issue with rubbing or anything for that matter they look and ride great. If you check out some sites they will even give you the max off set so you dont have your tires sticking out and looking stupid. The wheels I currently have on are American Racing Rogue (Chrome)
I'm running on 255/45R/20's on Foose 20" x 8.5" rims.
55R/20 soundslikethe diameter would be too large to fit.
I once had 265/35R/22's that were a verytight fit in the front. It left only about a 1/4" clearance to the bolt at the top of the tire.
I was'nt very comfortable with that so I went back down to where I'm at now.
No rubbing or fit issues at all.
Did you try this link from an earlier thread? Maybe this will help you out as well ...click here

From what I recall- RT - RWD - 5x115mm bolt pattern with a +25mm offsetfor the 18 stockers
RT AWD - 5x115mm bolt pattern with a +55mm offset for the stock 18's
As long as you stick with the 5x115mm pattern and close to the offset you should not have any issues. Have the tire company test fit the rim to ensure it looks good on your vehicle.
I went with 5x114.3 and a +42mm offset for my 20's on my 06 RT AWD with no vibration issues.Had to remove the clips from the boltstuds to get my rims flush to the rotors.

I'm getting some 20"s installed tommorow, and from what I gather thats good with either the 245/45/20 or 245/40/20 . its good to go 20"s when you want to upgrade 22"s are just to eye catching, and the cops are really bored in windsor.

I had 20s installed last week. Tyres are Yoko 255/45/20. After a couple of hundred miles, can't tell the difference from the stock 18" Goodyears in comfort, which is good. Seem a bit crisper in handling, but I haven't pushed them yet.
I really like Yokos. Had them on a Saab 93, VW Corrado and a BMW M Roadster. Have not let me down yet vs the competition... and the prices are pretty friendly.
