I still find it hard to beleive that they would shutoff oil flow to the lifters.

You won't change my mind about what oil to use and I won't be able to change your mind, so let's drop the issue of oil - okay?


On to bigger and better things.

Bob now using straight 50W oil...........just kidding

Agreed Bob, just keep in mind, I actually get trained by the guys who build this stuff. I do not offer my opinion on this forum
(for the most part), 90% of what I offer is fact as it is offered to me from Chrysler. Anyone has the right to do what they choose, they also have live to live with any consequences of their actions later.

After reading a detailed report on how the MDS works, and those unusual lifters (yes, oil does get shutoff) I may have to rethink my position on the right oil to use.

I do thank you for your views on the subject.

Castrol 0W-20 is full synthetic. It's made by BP.

Mobil synthetic blend is what I always use.
