OK, what are the Sticky-est Tires for the Magnum?
Hello again...
I need to put the 2nd set of Tires on my Magnum at this point, but want a better tire. I had the Stock Self Healing Conti's, and besides the quick wear, I really liked them. I got a set of Toyo Proxes S/T P255/55R-18 andam not happy with the Grip... They wear better and look better, but they tend to slide a bit more around the corners. So... I am looking for a very well gripping tire now, along with a Z Rating. Let me know what tires you have an how they handle. Also, as a Daily Driver, I am not looking for a Low Profile Tire, they would not match well with the Southern California Potholes...
[ul][*]Bridgestone Potenza would be nice, but I can't find one with the proper load rating. Please help!!![/ul]

Whoo Hoo!!!
Got the Goodyear F1's!!! Love 'em!!! The difference in the ride from the Toyo's is amazing. Not only is the handling better, but the overall ride, not to mention those, um, 65MPH+ runs... Well worth the extra money. Let me know what tires you guys are running and how they perform.

Havent worn through the contis yet, actually just had a problem with one of them though! It had a slow leak, so took it in to get repaired, well of course they cant be as they are run flats. I as I am sure most of you 05s have the warranty, and conti wouldnt honor it unless I had the original paper work. Well, thank god I did, and they replaced it.
Anyways, let me know what the wear is like on the F1s,I hear they only go about 15000, if that is true, then I will try another route. Will try and get one more summer out of these then switch to Winters, and get new wheels and tires for the summer next year!
