Default Track times?

What 1/4 mi times are you guys seeing in the Magnum R/Ts? There was a stock one at out local track, and was doing pretty good running mid 15s (5350ft).

That seems kind of slow to me, they should be in the 14's.

Bob, the mid 15's run was at a track that is a mile high in altitude. It would correct to a 14.5.

Remove 500 lbs from that huge 4000 lbs curb weight and I guess high 13s are easily achievable. But I guess removing 500 lbs would be hard unless you strip all of the Magnum's interior...

I did a dyno 1/4 at 14.3 , it would likely drop time at the track by a hair because you can't power break on the dyno... nor can you turn the traction control off.

The only times that count are those run at the track. The only one I've seen run, ran 15.37.

Ummm... whatever. That style dyno has precision/accruacy of less than .1 sec in 1/4 mile. How do you think they tune TRUE dragsters?

I know most people want to live in the dark ages, but science and enginnering works.... period.
