Default '69 Charger brake upgrade

Guy I work with is planning on putting a heavily built 440 in his '69 Charger. Right now it's got drum brakes all the way around and they suck as it is. He wants to go to 4 wheel discs. I haven't looked at the car yet because it's in storage for the winter.

#1- Can we adapt the stock front steering knuckles to accept a custom caliper bracket, or do we have to find doner knuckles that had disk brakes from the factory?

#2- What year/make/model cars have disc brake knuckles that will interchange with this car?

I've built a LOT of 4 wheel disc systems for 4x4's. This will be my first car. The principal is the same. The rear will be easy, it's just mounting the calipers on the front that I'm not sure about at this point.

Thanks for any help!

I'll have to ask my dad, his '69 Charger had drums all around and has been converted to front wheel disc.
