Default What do y'all think?

Bought a '76 dodge 150 truck a while back that ran for $600. Full of bondo and straight up redneck, but I bought it because under the hood was a 65, date on block 8/64, 426 street wedge. This motor does not have the notches on the top of the deck for the extra valve clearance. This is a special motor, even though it's not a max wedge. On the block there is a pad where numbers are stamped, just like the pad on a 440 on the right side of the block. A-426 is stamped on it. Any thing special, or just a reg. street wedge?

Not sure. But in my book, any 426 wedge is "special".

Nice score.
