I got the numbers off of my 69 Dart GTS's 383 today. I have been told it is not the original motor.

On the pass side towards the rear 2488130-6 and right below that D N L L
On the top front of the motor on pass side B 8 3 and then right below it 3 3 2 and below that R

The heads had 2 sets of number - 2406516-7 and 02166

Can anyone tell me what I have here?

as near as i can tell based off the numbers from the front of the motor, this is a 1966 383 that was cast on the third of march.
i used the numbers from the front of the motor and decoded them here .

 

Look at the "pad" on the passenger side of the block, just above where it meets the oil pan. You'll see the VIN of the car it was in originally. If it matches your VIN, then it is original. If not, decode the VIN and find out what car it came from. It's as easy as that!

 

Yep. And the tranny has a similar flat stamped pad along it's pan rail on the same side.

 

If the cylinderheads have a number with the last three digits reading 516 then they are an early 60's head. If they were the original heads, the last three numbers would be 906. Apparently the motor has been changed.
