What's it going in, and what's the use going to be? Do you want a stock tranny or something better?

Its goin in my mirada whenever i feel like doing it, dont gotta be nothin special. Automatic Transmissions bore me sticks are more of a challenge and also a bit of a anti-theft device

OK. So you don't want an aftermarket then. You might want to consider that the Mirada never came with a manual. You may end up having to chop the floor up for a shifter, alter the tranny tunnel, and relocate the tranny crossmember just for starters. I know that there were a few Aspen and Volares that had manuals behind smallblocks. If you have to change all this stuff you may want to find one out od a Dakota. Aside from an input shaft shim it may work and should be easy to find.

This isn't real comprehensive, but just some of the things I'd look in to if I was going to do it.

Good Luck. Keep us posted.
