My dad has won overall car show class champion in his cars' category for the past two years in a row in the Chrysler Classics. His '69 Charger is in the B-body Modified '68-'70 Dodge category. He is going out to Indy this weekend for their awards ceremony type thing they are having. I grew up with his other '69 Charger in the driveway, it's a green on green 383 Magnum w/Hurst 4 spd. I haven't yet checked the #'s on it to see if it's a #'s matching car, but he bought it from a junkyard not too long after I was born for only $50 and drove it away.[sm=jawdrop.gif] I found the Charger above for him here locally, it was a primered 383 2bbl auto. bomb that was barely running, but it was complete and $1,000. I found it for him so that he could part it out to restore the other Charger and then I was hoping to buy what was left of this one off of him. He decided it would be easier to redo the new Charger, so the other one still sits and rots and it's pissing me off. He ought to either have us redo the other Charger as a father son project or let me have it so I can get to bringing it back to life like it should be.
