Haven't had it at the track since I finished the restoration. Maybe this spring.

Just a reminder that the best all Mopar show in the west is happening a week from Friday on April 1st in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Motor Sppedway. If you live in the west and are a true Mopar nut you won't find a better time. In fact, a lot of people come in from the east as well. At least you can't say no one ever told you about it.

Did you run any of your vehicles?

No, I'm just putting my car in the Popular Choice field. It has an oil leak that I have to fix before I can run on the track. I just ordered a billet main seal retainer from Indy Cylinder. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

My brother just swapped out the rear end on his altered car. The old one was a locker in a Dana and pulled hard to one side under power. He hasn't had enough test time to want to run it at Vegas. However, he is planning on a nostalgia event in May. He was driving to the Rod Run in Temecula, CA a few weeks ago with the new rear end just installed. A Mustang revved on him at a stop light. How dumb is it to rev on a car with eight stacks coming out of the hood. Anyway, the road was clear so my brother popped it pretty hard. It pulled the front wheel when shifting into second. The Mustang guy had no clue what hit him.

We'll defintiely get some track time this spring and post some timeslips.

Do they ever??

If the rear main wasn't leaking, it wouldn't be an old MoPar.

I would love to go, but it is way to far away, especially if I were to take my Roadrunner at these gas prices. Last year it was $4.99 a gallon for the 110 octane leaded CAM2 it runs on, I will probably cry when I see what it is going for now, not to mention the gas mileage, I could probably get around 12 MPG at steady freeway speeds. With mostly around town driving it averages 7.5 MPG.[][:@]

Patrick. It's easy to see you're ready for racing season.
