Dodge Muscle Cars When it was all about noise and big (and bigger) engines, Dodge and Plymouth ruled the roads. Discuss the Muscle cars that once were within.

Default Better Sound

Hey I have a 75 Dodge Dart Swinger. I was wondering what type of mufflers to put on to get a good muscle sound. It has a 318 (hopefully bigger soon) with shorty headers 2 1/2 inch pipe dual exhaust. I have mufflers on now but they r just some cheap ones I put on to get it road legal. I know I shouldnt have did that but I needed to get it on the road. It sounds alright now but I want that sound that makes people stop what they are doing and stare. Im thinking flowmaster but not sure yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't go wrong with Flowmasters. When you decide on a final powerplant, might want to look at going with a full TTI system. They are expensive, but the fit, finish, and sound can't be beat.
