Coolant Tank Cap Needed??Help ASAP!!
Does the reservoir tank really need the cap?
Some of the water overflowed during a drive but it was only because it was filled past the limit. I dont even know what happened to the cap but it was no longer there. The question is, can i drive it without a cap for a long distance without worrying about the reservioir emptying and overheating the engine? I need to drive about 200 miles tonight and the car is in great condition, I am just having trouble finding the reservoir cap alone anywhere. Can I use some aluminum foil and wrap it around the top so that water does not come out? Or is the system pressurized and a special cap is needed? Please help ASAP!!!! All help is appreciated
