'98 2-Door Exterior Moldings

I want to take the moldings that run the full length of my car off. However, before I do so I need someone to confirm that there is nothing more than double-sided adhesive holding them on. I am not interested in doing body work to fill bolt holes in my doors and quarter panels. I have seen Neons with the moldings removed and there were no holes, but I am not certain that they didn't do some body work. Hit me back.

I think that they are held on by clips, which would mean holes.

well since your car sinks in where they are located i think it would look gay if you took them off

Yes, the mouldings are only held on by double sided tape. There will be no holes of you removed them.

Oh I thought there was clips, I have a 1st gen. I still don't know how it would look though, I supose it would look O.K.

You're always so positive sushi423. It really doesn't look all that different though. Rather than having a section of raised molding you are left with an indentation that happens to be the same size and shape of the pre-exsisting moldings. you poor 1st gen owners. the 2nd gens don't have that indention running the length of the car. see?
