Let see 50 bucks in parts and for tools you need
3 bucks for the spark plug gap checker
10 bucks socket for the spark plugs
16 buck for a ratchet
10 bucks for 10" extension
1 buck for anti-seize
1 buck for dielectric grease
so that is $50 tools and $41 for tools that you can use over and over. Although you'll need new packets of lube each time though.
How to get them off, my 04 at 10K needed the twist and pull and twist and pull and twist and pull and twist and pull and twist and pull and twist and pull and twist and pull and etc..... till they come off. They Dielectric grease makes this a non-issue next time.

Now at a saving of ~#300.00 a year for tune-ups for say 30-40 years -----$9000.00- $12000.00
You have to love that math!!
