I have a 2002 neon and I am getting the P0700 code - trans control system failure and P1193 - not sure what that one is. My problem is that the care won't shift out of first. There are no funny noises, reverse, neutral, and park all work fine, I just can't get out of first. I have replaced both VSS's and I nothing changed. Any more information that would help me get into the rest of my gears would be greatly appreciated.

 

P0700 is a code in the jtec( pcm) to let you know there is a problem in the trans side. and P1193 is a air temp sensor too high.
