Well, anything above 1200 is probably good.. ummm.. it'd be a good start, anyway.

Just start at something like say 2500-3000 and see how it likes it. If it bogs, then bump it up more. But if you start spinning the tires like crazy than tone it down. Just play around with it. I've found mine best likes to launch at around 4500-5000, anything less and I'm sluggish off the line (at least for drag racing purposes). Anything more and well to be honest I dont' know, but I would only guess I would spin them like crazy and probably not go anywhere. 1200 would be worthless, it idles at 800ish.

It was a joke. I was just assuming it idled at 1200. :P I was just saying it was a good starting point. Anything above idle, and work your way from there.

Yeah, mine idles at 800, figure his probably close to that. I'd say start at 2 grand and see how it goes. It also depends on how you let the clutch out. Just dump the clutch and you'll spin like crazy. I just keep constant pressure when letting it out and usually I can feel how well the tires are hookin up. Once I feel them hook up I just completely dump it and mash the gas. I pull 2.2 and 2.3 60fts consisently doing this on my stock crap tires. I don't know how well I explained what I was trying to get across but its something like that.

dude my car bogs sooooo much almost at any rpm launch... ill be pissed off and usually end up sqeeling my tires but as soon as the tires stop spinning i slow way down and end up bogging down...i dont get it.

The only advice i can give you is to not be retarded and drop the clutch at like 6000...thats not good.

^ why in my altima I launch at 4500-5500 depending on track condidtions and weather, Usually a spin the tires like a mother ****er but thats the way my car is the fastest. I always used to launch like neonsxt04 descibed but my car just doesn't like that, I pull the same 60fts 2.1-2.3 and thats spinning the tires the whole way. I can only imagine what my car would pull with drag slicks and a better clutch.
