Dodge NeonThe sport compact car that took the world by storm. the Dodge Neon. Depending on the trim level you get, this sporty ride has something to offer everyone.
srts don't have mufflers. they have a resonator and piping thats it thats why an srt-4 exhuast on a N/A car will be loud the turbo quiets it quite a bit.
That's right, the SRT-4's have a mufflerless exhaust, they only have two extremely small resonators after the cat. If it wasn't for it being too loud you could eliminate the muffler for a perfomance gain, because the cat will provide all the backpressure you need. A few people have swaped an SRT-4 exhaust onto their normally aspirated Neon only to find out that it is way too loud since it doesn't have any mufflers. An SRT-4 gets away with it because the turbocharger itself acts as a silencer/muffler.
