I put a new fuel pump in the car and now the fuel gauge registers about full and almost never drops down. What could be causing this and what can I do to fix it? Is it the float inside the fuel pump or ? Thanks for any help.

 

I would imagine that its the sending unit.

 

I too would have to say it's a sending unit issue.

 

Could Be a stuck Float, it happens, things are somtimes deffective.
