Ok,
Someone explain this one,
My 04 gets really crappy mileage around town, (22-25) however, does awesome on the return trip from Nags Head (NC.) to Philly, it gets well ove 39mpg.......

Now my 01 gets roughly 28-30 around town, and only 36 on the highway.

What the heck........

Drive hard in town and put it on cruise on the highway? Bad gas? Dirty air filter? Low tire pressure? I dunno, mine is consisently around 260-280 before the first gas light comes on. I have been keeping track of its mileage when I put gas in, mine does around 29-30 with almost all my driving being done in the city. Lots of stop and go. Mine rules on the highway when I'm on there, cruisin at 80mph @ 3000rpm pwns.

 

There are dozens of factors that come into play in gas mileage, everything from the air temp to the wind velocity to the quality of your gas to the amount of traffic on the road to the number of stoplights you caught....etc, etc....

 

Who cares what mileage it gets, as long as it goes when you STOMP ON IT!

Right????

That's all that matters......
