both of ours are 5 speeds,

I cant believe they recomend every 15k....

Actually they recommend every oil change but that's a little excessive.

I service mine at least every 3 months.

Also, you may want to verify that your engine ide is not too high.

my '01 only jerks or clunks if i'm parked on an incline... other than that it's basically smooth and quiet.
