Default Hey NeonSXT04...

What all do you have done to your car as of right now? I thought I read something about you breaking fifteen seconds in the quarter?

No, not breaking 15 seconds...I'm trying to run in the 15s. My car is almost stock motor wise.

Oh, I didn't know what the 2nd Gens were running. You got new motor mounts right? I just ordered some prothane motor mount inserts from Jegs. Do you think they'll help me get my power to the ground any better. Are your mods comparable to mine? They're below...

No...I have less than that. Basically the only go fast parts I have are a K&N filter, 2.5in catback exhaust, motor mounts if you count them, and a short throw (if you count that). BTW...my best is a 16.0. It can run in the 15s the way it is now...I was having issues tonight. It pulls much harder than a stock one does. I know that..my trap speed is almost 4 mph faster than when I was stock.

Do you think I could hang in the 15's or, I daresay, high 14's?

If I had to guess I would say mid to high 15s. I would highly doubt you could pull something in the 14s off.

I just go to test and tune days. I have no idea what class you would be in. I'm fairly new to drag racing. You want cheap way to get there...I'd say a 50 shot. Anything else will cost more.
