p0344 code, need help

Default p0344 code, need help

i have code p0344 code ,camshaft senser .
i put in a new senser .
the light is on sometimes same as before.
any hints on what to do.

Make sure the sensor gasket is installed and make sure its plugged in correctly...did you do any work to the camshaft, timing belt, etc or did the light just come on one day? Otherwise, the only other thing it could be is you need to replace the camshaft magnet itself...

Default same issues

I'm having the same issue on my 05 2.0 se. The sensor has been replaced twice and still pop the same code. I pulled the interuptor magnet out and it doesn't have any polarization. Could this be the prob?
