where is the fuel filter located on a 1999 dodge neon? or a strainer? auto-zone saysthe 99dont have one. i cant believe that. once in a while it doesnt want to start. it turns over good but then starts after a few seconds. i replaced the battery which was a 595 cold cranking amp, but it only read 325, the battery tester at wal-martsaid replace battery. i havent ran it enough to find out if that was my problem, as it doesnt do it every time. its been doing it for months now at different times. it runs good after starting,no skips or misses .ty kindly

 

The Neon fuel filter is "non-servicable" but its location is inside the fuel tank along with the fuel pump assembly.
