I was just wondering how you add a circuit to the fuse box so that it turns on when the ignition is turned. I don't want to make an interior switch cause i don't want to hassle with it everytime i get in my car. All i want is the ignition to be the switch that turns it on. Or if theres another way to do it, then please say! Thanks.
I'm talking about adding a completely different circuit to the fuse box, i don't want to add it to any other circuit because it uses so much amperage that it will overload it. I want to use one of the "empty" spots on the fuse box so that it can have its own circuit.
What are you running that you need that much amperage. You should be able to splice in to the red wire off of your radio, the yellow is constant power, the red is accesory power. If you need more amperage you can run a wire directly from the battery and use a soliniod wired to the accesory wire to power it, but to add a fuse to the fuse block you would have to find all the exact connections, I don't believe that there is even contacts for the fuses in the empty slots.
I'm powering an a/c blower

You are wiring in that stupid blower into your intake, lol. As you said you just wanted to try it, so just wire the negative side of the blower to the battery and run the positive side to a switch inside the car and then from the switch to the pos side of the battery. If you still have a motor when your done, all you will have to do is wire a solinoid in where the switch was and wire the trigger wire for the solinoid to the accesory side of the ignition. Which again I do not think is a good idea at all, that blower does not build enough presure or CFMs, those blowers only put out about 200-300 CFMs, your engine at 3000rpm pulls in about 600 CFMs, At 4500-6000 Rpm that blower will be so restrictive that you might not even be able to get the motor to run at those RPMs and if it does your car is gonna be running so rich that you will choke the motor with gas, with no air. GREAT MOD.
Well, if he's reading the replies, he now knows that the blower idea probably isn't all he thought it would be... hopefully he hasn't spent his money already? Isn't that what these boards are for.... learning what to do and not to do.... from the first hand Experience of others?
