I ran 16.3@84 with my stock 04.
I since have ran 16.0@86 with the only real engine mods being a K&N filter and a catback exhaust.

I've trapped as high as 87...almost 88mph...which for you draggers should be in the mid to upper 15s with traction.

i went out sunday and ran a 16.0 at 87. so it was .2 better than last time. I think it was the weather considering it was about 50 some degrees instead or 70 last time. i plan on getting an AEM cai thursday. how much would this take off of my time? And does a cai use up anymore gas than normal. im sure it is the same. im just wondering/

actually the CAI is supposed to give your car better gas mileage because it will make your car run more efficiently. you probably wont notice much in your 1/4.

all i know is at the red light, i can blow away a cavalier, or a REALLY old bmw, but thats about it, I feel quite happy with that, I would feel great to beat others, but I don't really want to race that much, can't afford much higher insurance if i get caught
