Alright, I've got a 1998 Neon SOHC and it's burnin oil. At least a quart every 5000km/3000miles. Is this normal or is it a sign that my headgasket is going. The car only has 75000km. Any suggestions? TIA

Is it normal, yes. Is it a big deal, no. Now heres the thing, it is most likely the rings are letting too much oil leak by, a quart an oil change is really not that bad at all. I have had car that leaked a quart every 700-1000 miles, and all I did was add a quart. If you are not planning on doing anything serious to the car, turbo, nos, or something to boost a lot of HP, drive the car and keep an eye on it.
