Ebay has plenty of "stick on" hood scoops. I don't think you are gonna find one painted, and if you do you probally won't be happy with it. Take it to a paint shop and have the hood painted.

Yeah, I've seen the stick on kind on ebay. I personally am not a fan of hood scoops unless they are functional.

I'd say no on the cutting the hole in your hood. I've never heard of anyone doing that, or having any success at it.

Yes, you can cut a hole in your hood to make the scoop functional.

There are however several things to consider and have done if you decide to do that.

A) Have a body shop cut the hole.

B) Have a body shop install the hood scoop.

C) Have a body shop mold the scoop into the body of the car. (IMO the stick on ones look like crap unless they are physically rivited to the hood and molded to the body.)

D) Have a body shop respray the entire hood.

I know you can...but why bother when they make plenty of replacement hoods with functional scoops for decent prices? I'm sure cutting up your hood, getting something molded in there or fabricated, and painted would cost a pretty penny. Not to mention, how good is this hood scoop going to look that someone makes. Why not just buy a whole new damn hood with that money and save your stock hood.

Well this is gonna turn out like a mastercard commercial...
1. Having a drunk body man cut a hole in your hood to big for the scoop 75$
2. Having a drunk body man paint the hood and the colors not matching 150$
3. Having a drunk body man put the scoop on backwords defeating the purpose of the scoop 50$
Going out and buying the already pre fab hood with scoop installed the first time...priceless!
