LOL...sorry. I have no idea why you guys are getting ****ty mileage. I'm the one who drives their car hard most the time. Only thing I've modded that could really affect my mileage is my K&N air filter. I did put an exhaust on it...but I don't think the computer can compensate for that at all so it shouldn't be a factor.

i drive hard and normally get around 25-26 mpg give or take, i would say i drive about half city half highway, but if i take it real easy I can get past 30mpg,
you guys have to remember, the estimated miles per gallon are at ideal circumstances, with near perfect gas, little to no drag on flat grounds.

But to the orignal question, if you drive as easy as you say 2004sxt, you should be getting better mileage than i do, unless you live in the rockies and your always climbing the mountains

Today I let it get almost to empty (in the red) but the gas light didn't come on. Usually I'll end up getting gas right when I'm at a quarter tank. However after I posted I figured I might as well see how far that last quarter tank would get me... turns out it got me another 40-50 miles. So I guess it's not all that bad but I still wish it was better The way I drive I should be getting about 300 + miles per full tank if I get that low on the guage. I guess that's just the way **** goes..... but jesus it's a SOHC 16 valve 4 litre engine, GOD! lol. I mean I'm running a little less than 3000 RPM's at 80 mph and 2000 RPM between 65 & 70. Isn't that awesome? Shouldn't I be getting like 450 miles per tank? lol. I'm just pissed cause I bought the car for it's mileage and it's not up to par with me.

Actually it's a 2.0 Liter. It's a SOHC 16 valve 2.0L.

In all the frustration I must've been mistaken[&:]... but that supports what I'm saying even more! It's a small *** engine.
