A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)

I like that, funny funny. Raises interesting though, anywhere under the hood is gonna be hot, unless it's closer to the bottom. What do you guy's think about where you place a CAI in a Neon? Good place? Bad place? I am also meaning the place where the airbox is originally.

I really hate the word ricer they only have to do with imports the domestic words are tricked out or customized neons are american and imports arent we are better than ricers clear tails are not ricey at all its the euro tails you never see all clears on any imports or even that many neons now I should know I have them on my 96 and im at shows or on the street people come up to me and say those are cool what are they the all clears are very rare I payed around 120.00 you can get euros alot cheaper.big mufflers I can see and some intakes and some body kits I sure em not a ricer I jazz up my neons way my style try to stay away from the cheapy stuff.

One reason you don't see the totally clear tails anymore is because they are illegal in most states.

best place for a CAI is near the bottom of the engine compartment. Iceman puts it right there, if you are looking for one.

Ive had my all clear tails on my 96 for 2 years now and they are so sweet and legal as long as you have red bulbs I have green for backups. I love to drive the cops and imports crazy.
