You can do it at home with hand tools. If you ahve them. Its not difficult.

 

basic hand held tools that would inclue what exactly.dont mean to be a jerk, just dont have a clue what i would need...impact wrench im assuming to torque headers

 

No impact wrench. You'd need a basic 3/8" ratchet set and a torque wrench.

 

Unless you are going turbo the stock pipes or any 2.5 inch pipes are good. It is very simple to do, The header bolts are gonna be fun, they are probbally rusted and from the heat are gonna be fun to loosen, but just take your time and you'll be fine.

Ive also got a question on headers...Im going to be getting the borla catback dual exhaust in the spring/summer...should i be better off waiting till i get that installed to get the header? does it matter? Also i was thinking about the pacesetter header on modernperformace but i see that they have a new one called OBX race header...anyone have anything good/bad to say about that one in comparrision to the pacesetter?? i have a 01 se...
