I initially want to get these brand of brakes because they're colored but anyway I'm not sure I should have them on my car. The description implies that they are for my dodge neon model but are recommended for 200hp and Best For High-Speed Spirited Street Driving And Heavy Duty Braking. can i have them?

my take on them is that they are for racing situations that require heat build up in the brakes pads for the maximum braking to result. meaning that they are at their best when heated up. you can use them on the street, but like Hawk pads, they are best when hot.


like i said in another thread. "brakes are only as good as the friction between your tires and the road."

 

You'll be fine running those, but the Hawk pads would be better IMO.
