Default Power Door Locks, Fix?

I bought my 96 neon with the passanger side power door lock not working, but it was making a whining sound like the motor was working. I decided to pull power door lock apart and try to figure out what was going on in there. After taking the 3 bolts off that hold it to the door i removed the metal pieces that run to the handles and locks. with the whole assembly out of the vehilce i tore it apart and remover the gear assembly hidden inside all the plastic. upon inspection i noticed something must have broke inside one of the gears so i took my soldering gun and melted both gears together being carefull to not hit the spines on either gear. once melted to gether and reasembled and put back into the door, the power door lock works great. this took aproximately 30-40 minutes to do and with a little expierence you could easily do this in 10 - 15 minutes.

if there is a demand for it i could take a couple pics but since its all back in, im not all about taking it back out. let me know if this is usefull info for anyone!
