2000 neon having idling and vibration issues
Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this. I have a stock 2000 Dodge Neon that is having some issues. I scanned the car for trouble codes but it came up with nothing.
The fist issue is idling. When the car is in park or at a stop the engines RPMs will dip down then back up over and over again almost to the point of stalling like.
The second issue is that there is a bad vibration in the steering wheel. You ca really feel and see it especially when the car is at a stop.
Any ideas and tips would be gratefully appreciated!!

Your car sounds like my fiance's. He has a 2000 Plymouth neon that has engine shakes and a shaky/vibrating steering wheel. He has a cracked head gasket which sounds like that may be your problem too. Do you have a sweet smell of coolant coming in through you heat vents? If so this could be cause of a cracked head gasket and rough idling.
