Default question about eibach pro kits please help!

hey guys, i know these questions about lowering springs has been asked many many times, but ive been searching for awhile and its still not really making any sense to me, and my computer is some **** at work so it loads wayy to long. im getting a major head ache, this subject is making me so mad! haha. ok well on to the question...i have a 03 neon sxt, and i was planning on getting the eibach pro kits the 1.5" drop or arospeed which is 2" drop it says? i was planning on installing them with my friend than later on going to get them aligned. so after getting them installed would it mess anything else up? like struts or anything? i dont race or drive that insane but i know eventually i will have to replace the struts, i just dont have money like that to buy everything all at once. =]
im planning on getting another car so i dont wanna spend so much on getting coilovers, just want a simple drop to satisfy the eye while i still have it.

and if anyone is lowered on these do you mind posting up some pics please? =]

DEWDEWZ,
Whats going on fellow Neon owner. As an owner of a speed shop, I've never seen eibach's lowering kits affect the struts in any vehicle. So long story short, you have the golden ticket, it will do nothing to the struts. If you do want a discount on them, or need any tech advice, give me a call at my shop 909-931-7869.

there are a number of factors to take into account......you cannot just generalize "lowering springs" as ANY lowering spring will need new struts. Many lowering springs, such as the eibach's are actually designed to work in conjunction w/ the factory suspension, yet leaves room for modification

I had the eibach pro kit springs on first in my neon and I can tell you that it handled better and was a little less body roll....that was then....now I have eibach sways, koni struts, and urathane bushings all around...VERY responsive and virtually no body roll

allright i think i've made my mind up to go with eibach springs. im not really into proformance since i dont race or anything, i just want a lower stance for beter appearance with my rims. so i dont think il be upgrading the struts and getting sway bars, at lease not as of now or anytime soon.

but my last question is how about the eibach sportlines? they give a 2.0F and 2.4R drop, would this still be ok on stock struts?

the struts will wear out faster.

Dewdewz, the reason they'll give a 2"F & 2.4"R is because they want to give you a level lowering. It'll be fine, espically with a bolt on and go kit, you cant go wrong. As I said before, if you want a great deal, just hit me up on it.
