single or dual overhead cam??

How can I tell if my 1999 neon is a single of dual overhead cam?

Thanks in advance.

Also, I have a motor mount going bad on the top by the timing belt assy. Easy enough for a novice to change out?

Check the 8th digit in your VIN#. If it's a "Y" then its a DOHC, it it's a "C" then it's a SOHC.

Side motor mount is easy to change. You will need to use a jack to support the engine.
