Just wondering what other neon owners are doing. I can't wait for the warmer weather!!! I'm putting on my rims next saturday, getting Monza dual exhaust, 60mm throttle body, headers, cams, couple of things to spiff up the interior. What are you guys up to?

 

Well I am in the process of fixing mine from my accident, so I'm getting a new front bumper. I want to get the 03 bumper but I think I need the 03 lights in order for the bumper to fit. Anyone know? I'm also planning on getting rid of the stock rims and getting 16's or 17's.

 

yea if u want an 03 bumper you need the headlights and also if u are getting an srt-4 bumber your gonna need the hood as well (I THINK)

 

Yeah I think that you need the hood with the bumper too

 

Im still Fixing mine from the accident it was in so i got alot lined up for the spring.. this is just a short list.

- rear bumper reinforcement
- new trunk lid
- guage cluster with tach
- subs & amp
- rims if possible
- New Paint Job
- exhaust

 

I was thinking the neon front end not the SRT 4. thanks for the info though.

 

well my 96 the engine is being rebuilt by my best friend just going to redo her stereo system new speakers and a mp3 player . my sxt im doin a cf cuda hood 17inch tires and wheels lowering her and painting the inside. neons are so fun to jazz up. oh yeah the coolest im gettin a show horn for my sxt.

 

you might need a hood for the 03 bumper too... if you look at hoods it always lists them as like 00- 02 or 03+. im not positive, but something to check into

 

Spring - summer mods:

installing my Dual exhaust thast been sitting in my room for almost 6 months
OBX headers and downpipe
Black Rims (17's hopefully)
Carbon Fiber hood with SRT-4 scoop
Lowering springs
SRT-4 spoiler
little bit of engine work

someday (when i get the money)
turbo

 

well first new subs and amp. I will actually probably do that before spring comes.

Then new Tokico blue struts and an Eibach pro spring kit. And hopefully an intake and some tinted windows as well.
