What tires should I get????
ORIGINAL: RT_Driver
Your best bang for the buck are the Falken Azenis sport RT-215. They are considered a competition tire, but they can easily be ran on the street. I run them on my car during the spring and summer months without any problems. They out perform both the YH Parada and es100, NT 450, MN Pilots, and GY eagles. Out of these that I ran the FK are the best. And for $42 each for 195-60-R14 you can't go wrong. They have an A rating for both traction and Temp. with a 200 treadwear rating.
Also for drag tires, I have two MT drag slick for sale. 20 x 8 for 14 inch wheels. I have around ten runs on them with plenty of tread left. Pm with questions

Goodyear is ok for normal street driving use, but as soon as you start to corner hard, you will quickly start to feel there limitations. For the stock 14's you can beat the performance per dollar of the Falkens.
The side wall flex you feel will always be there on the tires with tall side walls. With a high performance tire, that flex feel will disapate some, but will still be there. The only way to get rid of that flex is with larger diameter wheels. But they have there own disadvantages as well.
With the 195-60-r14, you will get a tire that is a little shorter, and a little wider than stock. So that flex will decrease over the stock tires.
Here is the sizes they currently make.
195/60R14 - 205/50R15 - 205/55R16 - 215/45ZR16 - 225/45ZR17 - 245/45ZR17
The ones your looking for on this page are called the azenis sport.
