Is it that the key won't turn or more of the rod not actuating the lock itself. If the tumbler is not working well I have used graphite suspended in light oil to much satisfaction although I have read locksmiths who abhore thies tradition.

Don't you hate that, you take it apart to fix it and can't find anything. You put it back together and it works fine now.

I'm very happy to be able to fix lot of problems by myself. Do you imagine how much i would spend if i went to the dealer. They are at 80$/hre. Casper on another thread we spook about a multifunction switch i have to change. I think i'll be able to change it but a bit scarry because the airbag.

Hey, I have a question, too! I'm having a similar problem with my 2002 Neon. I can put the key in the tumbler on the passenger side, and turn it with no problems. However, that's it! It does nothing with the locking mechanism. Is this a common problem? How do I fix it?
