Yeah that was my fear that I would have to cut stuff. Luckily I didn't have to and it took about 20-30 min (rusty s**t sucks lol). I want to put my battery in my trunk and make a custom intake that would go where my battery was. Because with the setup I have now it's still getting warm air from the motor because it's right in the back of it.
i didn't have to cut any thing but my intake didn't mount up with the braket.. im prolly gonna have to weld it or some thing.... i mean right now its fine without it.... holds tight... so i mgiht leave it alone i dunno... i'll get pics up today.

I saw a 2001 (?) with the intake dropped in right about where the battery would go normally, I suppose, but the battery was sitting right next to it. Didn't ask him too much about how he did it. A question I have about an intake is, notice how in each of these pictures, the intake wraps around to the back of the engine to where the filter is located....would it be possible to cut the intake pipe off just after it curves towards the back and rig up a cone filter sitting just to the right of the spark plugs or would that cause the elimination of a much-needed O2 sensor?
