I saw on Speed TV today that Dodge will be replacing the Neon with a new car as their entry level model. It is being called the Caliber, and looks like a smaller Magnum. Has anyone else heard about this and if so does anyone have more info on it?

 

I heard the same thing from the dealer where I bought my 05 Neon. They say they are going to make it like a station wagon. That sucks![:'(]

yes, the neon nameplate is about to be dropped from the dodge lineup. no, the caliber is not "replacing" the neon.. but it is one of the new cars that will be joining the dodge lineup soon. theres supposedly another car that will "replace" the neon.. but its still a bunch of rumors and whatnot really, still no definates on what it will be or look like.

im still not really understanding why people say it looks like a mini magnum.. it looks a heck of a lot more like a vibe mixed with a durango to me.

Yeah it is. It kinda sucks to. They should've improved the SRT-4 instead of getting rid of the neon. They need something for SCCA. Neon will be around for awhile but what happens when the competition starts to blow out the neons???

 

that sucks... how long was that car even out.... a year or two... why are they ditching it? the car doesn't look bad and it seems like it performs very well

i would have liked to own one in the future...
