What do you think about this muffler???
This is just the muffler. I'm getting a stainless steal pipe to be fit to my car. It's going to be 2.5in instead of 2.25in. I'm going to have to get an adoptor because the hookup pipe on the muffler is 2.25in.

That's the same exhaust I have. But I have the whole system. It sounds great! You'll love it!
I will have to make minor adjustments to my 2004, because it sticks out a little farther. Or I'm gonna wait until I get my body kit and see how it looks. But it fits perfect and looks great on 1st gens.
It's easy to put on too...

Do they sell the whole system for the first gen neon??? Even if the piping isn't 2.5in I'd still like to just get the whole thing. How does it sound and how's it holding up??? Yeah it does look great!!!
It has a low pitched rumble sound. It's a POP and RUMBLER, lol. It will wake a week or so for the sound to come out and for it to break in. So don't panic at first, if it sounds high pitched. It's holding up great. I haven't had any problems. I don't know if the they make a whole system for the 1st gen. I will check......
i dont really like the vibrant on the 1g. ive never seen a vibrant catback for the 1g btw, just the rear section
reasons i personally dislike the vibrant: its not symmetrical, so it looks goofy unless you can hide it well enough with a body kit. the muffler is quite heavy. heavier than the stock sohc muffler. it doesnt really flow all too well.
as for the sound, its odd. ive heard this muffler on various 1st gens.. and some sounded decent with a nice rumble.. but others were quite raspy (mainly at WOT of course and above 3k rpm) so i grew to dislike the muffler.
that is of course, just my personal opinion
