Problems with engine!!
This has been happening quite a few times over the past few weeks.
This happens at random times too, usually when i've been out driving for about 10 minutes, out again... and the 3rd time it occurs again.
The problem is... when i start the engine, the engine moves and the revs go down, basically the whole car shakes. If my lights are on, they dim down too.
It sounds like there's air in the fuel line.
But this worries me when i start the engine... put it into reverse and it sounds like its going to cut out. (its a auto transmission too)
sometimes this does it when i come to a 4-way stop, and pull away, the engine shakes again and sometimes the malfunction light comes on.
Can anyone help me?

Could be lots of things....major headgasket leak, timing belt missing teeth, vacuum leak, bad coil, bad spark plug wires, fouled spark plug, water in gas/tank, bad fuel filter/pump. Really it's hard to tell. Is it throwing any codes?? Any lights coming on?
I'd run some dry gas though and see what happens...sheapest and easiest place to start.
Your best bet it to take it to a Dodge garage and let them do the hard work.

Well I am not sure but my 2003 srt Automatic does something kinda simular but not as bad. No lights come on. Whenever I had the car in drive and I come to a stop after driving for a bit. I come to a stop and the rpm's slowly go down to never lower than 500. but if I drop it in nutral and gas it alittle it will idle back at 750 rpm's again and stay there.(even if I let go break, unless I gas it the rpm's will then stay at 500) I think my transmission needs service but I am not sure. I think the gear is holding it and put too much load on the engine and that's why the rpm's are dropping soo low. Can anyone verify this for me or give shed some light on it.
Thanks.
Thanks.
