Opinion on tint%
Well I'm going to be buying my tint next after I get my exhaust installed. But I'm not sure what percentages to get. Mayby you guys can help me decide. In Nevada your alowed as dark as you want except the darkest you can go for the drivers side window is 35%. So I basicly have two choices.
1. 35% all around
2. 35% in the front half, and 5% in the back half
It gets up to 120 degrees in the summer here in Vegas. I'd get 5% all around if it was legal. I want to get it as dark as possible, but I don't think having two tones would look nice. Or does it? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

RE: Opinion on tint%
Hey There:
I went for 35/20 - you don't want too dark, been there done that. At least for me it was just too dark to see out of at night. My tint looks great - my NEON is white and it pretty much fades together. My Mom has a Honda Accord the color of your NEON and her tint looks good also. Plus at first the rear window will look disstorted because of the tint on the window defogger strips, but you'll hardly notice it after a week or so. I just got mine installed a couple of weeks ago, because that TUCSON Summer is coming fast. I know what you mean about the heat, its coming fast and its going to be a LONG SUMMER.......... I have a question though. Have you taken the night shots of your rear tails?? That'll be my next purchase--just got the alarm last week. Kinda neat -- I walk out of work - Auto start the car and have it cooled down by the time I get in--thats going to be nice when its 115* and 140* in the car. Thats my two-cents, just be sure to have it done by the pro's -- and go for the newer ceramic type, much more fade resistant. Nothing more ugly than purple tint in a few years - just to save a few bucks now.

RE: Opinion on tint%
This guy has the same configuration as I'm thinking about, using 35% and 5% tint.

It looks nice. It looks like he has a 35% windshield strip too. I think I'm going to go with that then after seeing those pics.
