Default Dashboard removal

I need to remove the Dashboard to check under the dash for some parts. Namely cause my keyless entry/Pwr Dr locks are no longer functional. The dealer said my gauge cluster needs to be replaced. Does the power door locks or alarm/keyless entry have a relay I could replace on the cluter itself? The dealer said something about it not responding. I can't get the dash off because of the rear clips. I don't know if they are clips or if they slide off or what... I don't want to break anything further, so I need some help before I venture on. BTW, anyone know what to check for continuity in the kyless entry system? Maybe theres a fuse or fusible link under the dash? Suggestions? help?

fuse box is on the left of the dash board where the door closes, just open the door follow directly left of the steering wheel, clip on plastic piece, should say fuse box.
to take of dash, take of plastic pieces above that connect the inner roof to dash board, dont remember if there are screws on the side of the dash when doors are open, but there are, i believe 3 screws or 4 screws on top of dash, need small screw driver, there fairly long,
as soon as those are out, push dash in and down to unlatch plastic from locked position and then up and release. Fairly easy, about ten minutes and then you can look at the wiring and figure any problems. Also im not quite sure what it is, but there is a another box where passenger seat is under the dash. Probably not your problem. Hope that helps.

This is true for the 00+ Neon's? I can't see any screws that hold in the top.

On mine...which is an 04. I have a screw on the drivers side and passenger side (open door and you will see them), 2 screws in the defroster vent in the middle of the car. After that, pull both A-pillars off (held on by clips) and the dash just pops up. Check your fuse for your power locks first before you take your dash apart. I blew the fuse for my power locks and my remote quit working when that happened.
