Hey, i just got home and my neon starts to sputter everytime i get to 4000 rpms. any ideas where i can start to look for the problem? any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

How well kept is your neon? At a glance, appears to be a spark issue. May be time for new spark plugs, wires and coil. Before shelling out the cash, check for any codes. If nothing ties into your issues, you should inspect your wiring harness, particularly in the areas that expel extreme heat. Near the exhaust pipe, new the egr tube, and anywhere else that looks suspicious.
