I got the muffler Friday and i finally got to put it on today. its not fully done because i have to weld it this week and change the tip cuz the one i got sucks (wasted money on that). but i mean its on for now and sounds nice when i leave the tip off it. i got pics and 2 sounds clips with the tip on. once i get it off and weld it i will get more.
if any one knows any thing about making a movie file into just a sound file please let me know.

i also dont care much for the tip, but who made the system, it looks good!

 

Its a Flowmaster Super 40 i got off ebay for $75. its sounds bad *** without that tip. its coming off tomorrow cuz u can't even hear the muffler with it on now. glasspack tips suck. i thought a pacesetter tip would be good.

Did you feel any performance difference? is it just the muffler you got?

 

i didn't notice any performance difference yet once i take it out more i might i dunno. prolly not much. i just did the muffler nothing else.

 

It's not gonna give you any noticable performance difference. I don't like the tip.

 

I won't say I don't like the tip, because that's about the same size mine is. Only, mine's not yellow on the inside. That, I'm unsure about (though, it would probably get caked black pretty easy). The thing I don't think I like is the way that's pointing out to the side. I would have gone with a 90 degree elbow pipe and pointed it straight out the back.

the only reason i didn't go with the 90 is because it would stick out far like yours is. i don't really like that look. so i went back and got the 45 so it wouldn't go that far past teh bumper. i just got a new tip today too cuz the other one was junk lol. its not all nice a chrome and **** but at this point i don't care i just like the sound.

 

Yea, I had Monroe Muffler put my exhaust on, and when they showed me it was gonna stick out that far, I asked them if they could cut the bumper, but they don't do that, they said I'd have to do that...So maybe one day if I feel that I actually need to, I'll cut the bumper and push the tip back a little further.

 

aight so i got a new plan for my exhaust lol
im gonna cut the pipe and make it stick straight out instead of it sitting side ways... got 3 reasons for it too.
1) it will look cleaner
2) fit better
3) be much louder too.... it got quieter and raspy with the angled pipe.

my only question is will it fit on the side.. i didn't get a chance to get exact measurements but it looks like it will work. has any one done it or seen pics of it done ?
