Right now I have all seasons on my car and there damn near bald. I'm going to get summer tires on my new rims when the time rolls around so my stock rims I'm just going to put winter tires on and use em in the cold months. Does the maker really make a difference? And What about getting the studded?

 

You get what you pay for but i wouldnt go out and get the best, most expensive tires you can find... I did use the Firestone Winterforce on my old car and loved them, and they were priced pretty cheap i thought, mine were not studded but they are studable.
