tire question...
Im going to be putting my wheels on in the next few weeks, I have 16" wheels, just wondering what a good size tire would be, I know 16" but i was wondering what would look nice like width ect...i saw on tire rack they are 205/45 is that the only size available for neons? i did a search under 2001 neon and all of them had the same dimentions....what size did you guys use? anything different then a 205/45???
Wheelmax.com recommends 205/45/16
...sounds good to me. When I get enough money to buy my wheels and tires I'll be getting 17" Gunmetal Excel H-60s w/ 205/40/17 Tires. You don't wanna go with 17s? Eitherway 16 will be just fine.

Yea I will at one point go with 17s but i got 4 16" chrome rims for 300 bucks so i bought them just as a tester rim just so i can learn how to drive "carefully" cause i sometimes have a tendensy to bump the curb and i dont want to spend tons of money on rims then drive and scrap them, so just gona start off with these...they were cheap and look nice so thats all im looking for right now
Because who wants to put 18s on a neon? Its completely worthless unless your neon is a show car. 35 is small sidewall....one semi-bad pothole and there goes your tire. What size tire/rim did you car come stock with? I have 205/40/17s on my car. I wasn't sure about going with a 215 since my car is lowered...didn't want to rub when i turn sharp. MIght go with a 215 when I get a new set of tires after I wear my current set out.
