Alright, I love my neon (first car ever) but now it's just confusing me. When we bought it, the dealership said it was a 1997 Dodge Neon Sport, with a DOHC engine.

It says sport on the side, other than that I don't know how to tell the difference...but I can't find any other 97 sports! I can find 96 sports...

also, I know the engine is DOHC because its written on the engine itself. however on auto comparison sites I can't find a thing about a neon DOHC engine.

as if my car wasn't confusing enough, it also gets 45 miles per gallon highway!

 

Well you arent the only person with a 97 neon sport. The only difference that i can rememcber from the 95 year was the sport had the dohc instead of the soch and the sport had 5 bolt tires instead of 4 and i think the sports tires might have been 14 instead of the base 13. Oh and if you want to see some different ideas for modding cars, i used to use the cardomain site for general research.
